With the ownership of the Wahkiakum County Eagle remaining in the family, Jacob Nelson, left, and his husband Brandon J. Simmons have taken over leadership roles. They are working on enhancing operations while ramping up community engagement with residents of the third least populous county in Washington. Nelson works at Microsoft and Simmons plans to continue his theater career.
