Mukilteo Ferry Terminal wins national award

The Mukilteo Multimodal Ferry Terminal, Washington state's first new ferry terminal in 40 years, was named a national winner of a WoodWorks 2022 Wood Design Award.
Mukilteo earned honors in the Wood in Government Buildings division.
The national awards program showcases excellence and innovation in wood building design. The team in charge of the project, LMN Architects, Washington State Ferries, and KPFF Consulting Engineers were honored for their achievements in technical innovation when building with wood and their work in turning the sustainable building material into a world-class facility.
The annual awards program recognizes building designers for their skill and ingenuity, and projects that demonstrate the attributes of wood that make it so appealing.
